The Multiverse AKA Michael/Charlie/Anna lucia etc. aren’t dead..are they?

What if lost is influenced by the theory of the multiverse, all they’re doing is following one reality to its end, but, because of the island its able to influence which path to take. When Michael pulled the trigger the island switched realities to favor its own needs.

Michael couldn’t kill himself because of a theory called quantum suicide. The island has some influence on quantum particles here’s the theory in full.

A man sits down before a gun, which is pointed at his head. This is no ordinary gun; it’s rigged to a machine that measures the spin of a quantum particle. Each time the trigger is pulled, the spin of the quantum particle — or quark — is measured. Depending on the measurement, the gun will either fire, or it won’t. If the quantum particle is measured as spinning in a clockwise motion, the gun will fire. If the quark is spinning counterclockwise, the gun won’t go off. There’ll only be a click.

Nervously, the man takes a breath and pulls the trigger. The gun clicks. He pulls the trigger again. Click. And again: click. The man will continue to pull the trigger again and again with the same result: The gun won’t fire. Although it’s functioning properly and loaded with bullets, no matter how many times he pulls the trigger, the gun will never fire. He’ll continue this process for eternity, becoming immortal.

Go back in time to the beginning of the experiment. The man pulls the trigger for the very first time, and the quark is now measured as spinning clockwise. The gun fires. The man is dead.

But, wait. The man already pulled the trigger the first time — and an infinite amount of times following that — and we already know the gun didn’t fire. How can the man be dead? The man is unaware, but he’s both alive and dead. Each time he pulls the trigger, the universe is split in two. It will continue to split, again and again, each time the trigger is pulled [source: Tegmark].

Also is Desmond able to see the future or is he able to see into other realities. When he saw Charlie die,was it another Charlie in another universe? Does Miles have this ability as well? And instead of duplicating people/or sending them forward in time does the Orchid station pull them from another universe? Is this how there’s two Locke’s, or should I say one Locke and one Bentham?

How can a white rabbit cloak a black swan?

I really hope this guy is legit because, if he’s not he’s a genius and, I’ve just spent the last day and a half figuring out the above statement?

Here’s what I found a on Wikipedia about the black swan :

In Nassim Nicholas Taleb's definition, a black swan is a large-impact, hard-to-predict, and rare event beyond the realm of normal expectations. Taleb regards many scientific discoveries as black swans—"undirected" and unpredicted. He gives the September 11, 2001 attacks as an example of a Black Swan event.

The term black swan comes from the ancient Western conception that 'All swans are white'. In that context, a black swan was a metaphor for something that could not exist. The 17th Century discovery of black swans in Australia metamorphosed the term to connote that the perceived impossibility actually came to pass.
Taleb notes that John Stuart Mill first used the black swan narrative to discuss falsification.

Before Taleb, those who dealt with the notion of improbable, like Hume, Mill and Popper, focused on the problem of induction in logic, specifically that of drawing general conclusions from specific observations. Taleb's Black Swan has a central and unique attribute: the high impact. His claim is that almost all consequential events in history come from the unexpected—while humans convince themselves that these events are explainable in hindsight.

One problem, labeled the Ludic fallacy by Taleb, is the belief that the unstructured randomness found in life resembles the structured randomness found in games. This stems from the assumption that the unexpected can be predicted by extrapolating from variations in statistics based on past observations, especially when these statistics are assumed to represent samples from a bell curve. Taleb notes that other functions are often more descriptive, such as the fractal, power law, or scalable distributions; awareness of these might help to temper expectations. Beyond this, he emphasizes that many events are simply without precedent, undercutting the basis of this sort of reasoning altogether. Taleb also argues for the use of counterfactual reasoning when considering risk.

Here’s what I found on Wikipedia about the white rabbit:

“Rabbit rabbit white rabbit” is a common superstition, held particularly among children. The most common modern version states that a person should say “rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit” upon waking on the first day of each new month, and on doing so will receive good luck for the remainder of that month.

The exact origin of the superstition is certainly unknown, though it has appeared in print at least as early as 1420 in England, where it is most commonly said to have originated, though some reports place its origins even earlier, into the 1200s. Today it has spread to most of the English-speaking countries of the world, although like all folklore, determining its exact area of distribution is difficult. This superstition is related to the broader belief in the rabbit or hare being a “lucky” animal, as exhibited in the practice of carrying a rabbit's foot for luck.
Some have also believed it is representing a jumping into the future and moving ahead with life and happiness.

So I did a little digging on jumping into the future and white rabbits, and came up with this, a book called ‘Theory of Nothing’ by Russell Standish. The book talks about multiple universes (Multiverse) and how they exist in reality. A lot of what he talks about is influenced by a man called Max Tegmark. Now this is where it gets interesting! Max Tegmark came up with the theory of the multiverse, which has a problem called the White Rabbit Paradox.

So where does this leave the statement: How can a white rabbit cloak a black swan?

Well a rough translation would be: How can multiple universes cover a rare event beyond the realm of normal expectations? Are Dharma using the looking glass to view all possible out comes and choosing the ones that suite best? To add weight to the argument here’s a translation of the Latin phrases in the e-mails

An argument to show that the result of a proposed measure will prove inconvenient or unsuited to circumstances.~ ab inconvenienti~ Choosing a different timeline having a detrimental effect ,but will be for a greater good

Through Adversity to the Stars ~Per Aspera Ad Astrum~ The multiverse, choosing the right one even though it might not seem like it at the time

"From what comes before ~ Since the beginning of time" ~Ab Aeterno, Aeterno Ab~ They‘ve been trying to do this since the beginning of time? Richard Alpert

Abaddon

Abaddon, in demonology, was chief of the demons of the seventh hierarchy. He was called The Destroyer and in the Book of Revelation the Evangelist St John called him the King of the Grasshoppers, or demon locusts (described as having the bodies of winged war-horses, the faces of humans, and the poisonous curved tails of scorpions). The Thanksgiving Hymns (a copy was also found in the Dead Sea Scrolls) tells of "the Sheol of Abaddon" and of the "torrents of Belial [that] burst into Abaddon". The Biblical Antiquities of Philo' mentions Abaddon as a place (sheol, hell), not as a spirit or demon or angel. It appears to have been St. John who first personified the term to stand for an angel.

Abadon is one of the kings that has ruled over the nations of the earth. The scriptures indicate that he ruled over both Egypt and Sodom at some point in history, and will endeavour to rule over Jerusalem in the final days. Jerusalem will figuratively be called Sodom and Egypt at that time. At the end of times he is given the key to the abyss and releases these demon hordes on the people of the earth

Not long after Judeo-Christian teachings taught the name of this demon, Abaddon referred to the pit or cave that was used in mystery religions and schools as a rite of passage into the greater mysteries. Often the experience would entail the use of ritual substances that put the aspirant into an altered state in which he or she could receive divine revelation. Because the experience was sometimes unpleasant, this rite came to be viewed as being "hellish." However, it was considered absolutely necessary so that the seeker may become pure enough to encounter the "mind of God", as an angel is described as the "Angel of the bottomless pit who binds Satan for a thousand years".

Apollo-Python was the serpent deity in the Pit of the Delphi oracle who inspired the seeress with mystic vapors from his nether world. Abaton was the Greek word for Pit, which the Hebrews changed to Abaddon, which later became synonymous with the Christian hell.

Abaddon is an enigma. At times, he is an angel of judgment, not of satan but of God, destroying at God's bidding.According to The Greater Key of Solomon, Abaddon is a name for God that Moses invoked to bring down the blighting rain over Egypt. Both Heaven and Hell claim him as an ally, other times as an enemy. It is clear that he is the angel who will command the monstrous horde from the Abyss that will rampage over the earth in the tribulation period as Judgment approaches. What is not clear is whose orders he will be following at what time.

The Hebrew word abaddon means "place of destruction" Job 26:8 and Psalms 88:11. The role of Apollyon in biblical references is ambiguous, sometimes being described as a good angel who serves God, and sometimes also being described as a fallen angel who succumbed to evil. The word Apollyon and its variations are sometimes used to mean a place perhaps Hell itself (in the Old Testament the name Abaddon is used for the place of the dead). The word Abbadon is also used for Hell in rabbinical literature. Abaddon has also been considered the Hebrew name for the Greek god Apollyon.

Dalai Lama’s 18 rules for living

At the start of the new millennium the Dalai Lama apparently issued eighteen rules for living. Are they also the rules of the game. Here they are.

  1. Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
  2. When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.
  3. Follow the three Rs:
    1. Respect for self
    2. Respect for others
    3. Responsibility for all your actions.
  4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
  5. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
  6. Don’t let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
  7. When you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
  8. Spend some time alone every day.
  9. Open your arms to change, but don’t let go of your values.
  10. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
  11. Live a good, honourable life. Then when you get older and think back, you’ll be able to enjoy it a second time.
  12. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life.
  13. In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current situation. Don’t bring up the past.
  14. Share your knowledge. It’s a way to achieve immortality.
  15. Be gentle with the earth.
  16. Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before.
  17. Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.
  18. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

How do you move an island?

Mohammad Mansouryar tells us how to travel through space and time and, technically, how to move an island. There are also allusions to the DHARMA Initiative in what he says.Extracts from The Sri Lanka Video are shown for comparison. For a more in depth look, (with diagrams which include time traveling bunnies !! ) click on the header above.

Anyone with a little ponder can find out the mankind cannot live on the earth forever.

There are a lot of threats for us on this planet: Global warming, probability of striking the space wandering masses to the earth, destruction of jungles, greenhouse gases, pollution of the environment, deathful illnesses, wars & WMDs, natural calamities & more cases. Therefore, the idea of leaving the earth to settle in some proper planets is reasonable, even necessary.

On the other hand, decreasing the population of the world via that way can solve many problems about scarcity of natural sources, fair distribution of the wealth, security & so on. So IMHO, colonizing other planets is a desired work to lessen the pressures on the earth. However, the question is: By which technology?

In 1962, only thirteen years ago, the world came to the brink of nuclear war. The United States and the Soviet Union almost fulfilled the promise of mutual assured destruction. A promise they continue to foster through a destructive Cold War. After the Cuban Missile Crisis, both nations decided to find a solution. The result was the Valenzetti Equation Commissioned under the highest secrecy, through the U.N. Security Council, the equation is the brainchild of the Italian mathematician Enzo Valenzetti. It predicts the exact number of years and months until humanity extinguishes itself. Whether through nuclear fire, chemical and biological warfare, conventional warfare, pandemic, over-population... The results are chilling, and attention must be paid... (Alvar Hanso, Sri Lanka Video)

Now with an eye to cosmic distances measured by the speed of light in a year, it can be understood that every space travel in a plausible time should be comparable to the speed of light "c"; just think to the nearest star to us after sun, 4.28 light years away!

So more velocity in the space is needed, but stop! The final goal cannot be the final velocity!

  • You need to be able to travel faster than light.

The "c" is too tiny regarding the cosmic distances, the special relativity states more velocity causes inertia increasing / length decreasing effects.

  • Light speed isn't enough,it could cause ship to expand and contract, causing it to slow.

Also, handling a spacecraft with high velocity amongst the interstellar dust, meteorites, wandering masses, asteroids & providing its propulsion fuel, is excessively difficult.

So absolute part of our attention has to be on the "distance reduction" instead; i.e., there is a locally simple displacement & the velocity of object is very less than c but the considered distance changes so that consequently would be less devoted time, finally in compared to a situation if a light pulse would be supposed to pass the same distance. In other words if we cannot change our velocity - never mind - but we change our course in which finally we arrive from the same origin to the same destination. There are several ideas on this scheme such as traversable wormholes (TWs) & warp drives (WDs); but there are problems in them, more than all the required energy to maintain them.

  • There are ways around light speed, you could bend the distance over on itself. This is one way of moving the island, create a worm hole.

In the general relativity (GR), the distribution of matter-energy causes the configuration of spacetime & vice versa. It means the equations are nonlinear. Indeed, the TWs & WDs are particular configurations of spacetime one needs for transferring a spacecraft with a locally low velocity & velocity more than c effectively. Besides, the energy they need to be stable, has a negative sign, called the exotic matter, proposed to be generated in some ways, most famous of all by the Casimir effect ...

  • So the island can teleport itself because of its special properties, the casimir effect and the exotic matter. It does this by opening a worm hole or vortex, then slips through, either forward or back in time!!
